More?!?

Yes! More volunteers were trained again! Huh? Again? When? On 21 & 22 June, back to back.

On the first day, 13 of our most faithful volunteers went through Volunteer Training Level 2. They learnt many useful tricks of how to choose a leader, get a group to brainstorm etc. Also, they had some misconceptions about DISC cleared by Praise, our masteress trainer and also learnt how to lead students with different DISC profile.

Ben & Xiao Tian just got a chance to show off their new techniques in the recent Teck Whye run and they worked! Wow!

We want to warmly welcome our 17 new friends to the TU! community who joined us for Volunteer Induction on 22 June. Hope you learnt lots and had fun making friends.

If you missed out, look out for future training sessions in our calendar!

Interview with a REAL actor!

"How fun is it being another person...?"
"How do you ever remember all the lines you are suppose to say...?"
"Would you get the script from different shows mixed up..?"
"How do you become a director...?"
"Is it easy to become famous...?"

These were some of the questions that got answered by our friend and TU! volunteer, Dick Su, an actor-script-writerhost-director in our very 1st Industry Visit under the Life Coaching programme.

Dick shared passionately about what it takes to make it in the theatre/acting/entertainment scene - the joys, challenges, the sacrifices, the rewards. The all girls audience were charmed and benefited from his personal get-real sharing and insights. Dick left us with a great piece of advice - A good attitude is key to making it BIG. Great attitude starts now.

Way to go, Dick and our very teachable life coachees!
