Thumbs Up! has been appointed a FRIEND OF STOMP!

Along with Youth Challenge, the National Library Board and the National Youth Achievement Award Council (NYAA), Thumbs Up! has been appointed a Friend of STOMP! Check out the many cool features of this new portal by the Straits Times at www.stomp.com.sg.

STOMP (Straits Times Online Mobile Print) will engage Singaporeans on all 3 platforms of print, online and mobile. There are forums, celebrity blogs, places to upload your photos or even be a reporter with your phone through MMS or SMS and much much more. If you have a burning question as to how anything works, you can even post it to ASK ST and get the answers courtesy of the good folks at the National Library Board.

Ok. Nuf said. Go check it out!

Sprechen sie Englisch?

As the penguins in Madagascar asked: "Sprechen sie Englisch?" We say "I Sprechen! In fact, I Sprechen English good!". :) Thumbs Up! is now also a partner in the Speak Good English Movement!

I know that some of you still think that in order to communicate with people who don't appear to understand you, you just need to speak much louder and in a slow deliberate pace. Just for the record, that was a joke. Speaking clearly and in good english may probably get you to be understood much better.

If you want to change the world and make an impact, shouldn't the world be able to understand what you are saying?
